How long until my booking is confirmed?
We review every request manually to make sure the room and dates still fit. Expect a confirmation email within 1 business day (Mon–Fri). Urgent? Email housing@flyingacademy.com.
What's included in the price?
The rate covers your bed, utilities (electricity, water, internet), and basic linens. Tax (where applicable) and the refundable damage deposit are shown on the price breakdown before you confirm. No hidden fees.
How does the deposit work?
A refundable damage deposit is collected at check-in. After check-out we inspect the room and refund the full deposit within a few business days, minus any documented damage. Normal wear-and-tear is never deducted.
Can I cancel or change my dates? Full policy →

Yes — reply to your confirmation email or contact housing. Each property sets its own deadline and fee, printed on the booking agreement you sign at Request time. The general rules:

Free changes

Change your arrival date or cancel without fees if you notify us before the cancellation deadline on your agreement (typically 7 days before arrival).

Late changes

Cancellations or date changes inside the deadline window may incur a late-cancellation fee — the exact amount is set per-property and shown on your agreement.

No-show

If you don't arrive and haven't contacted us, the booking is cancelled and the late-cancellation fee (if any) applies. Please always let us know — we're flexible when you communicate.

Deposit refund

Your refundable deposit is returned in full after check-out, minus any documented damage. Inspection is done with you present whenever possible.

Shared room or private room?
Shared rooms have 2–4 beds with separate rooms for different genders once a tenant moves in. Private rooms are single-occupancy. Both types share kitchen, bathroom, and common areas unless the card shows Ensuite Bathroom.
Can I bring a guest or a pet?
Check the amenity chips on each property — some allow pets and some don't. Overnight guests require prior approval from the housing team. Quiet hours apply from 10 PM to 7 AM at all properties.
Why can't I find my booking by email?
Use the Booking ID shown on your confirmation email (format: FA-123). It's the most reliable way to pull up your reservation. If you've lost it, email us and we'll resend.
Do you offer a discount for Time Building pilots?
Yes. Time Building packages of 50 hours include 2 weeks of free accommodation; 100 hours includes 3 weeks. You'll see the discount applied automatically when you pick Time Building during booking. A signed Time Building contract is required.
